Olympiad maths classes in Canada
Canada has two major maths competition systems. The Canadian Mathematical Society runs the national Olympiad pathway: CLMC prepares students for the open COMC, which invites top students to CMO or CJMO and also informs APMO and EGMO selection. The University of Waterloo CEMC runs a much larger school programme, including Gauss, Pascal, Cayley, Fermat, CIMC, CSMC and Euclid. CEMC contests form an age and difficulty ladder, not a formal qualification chain: you do not need Gauss to sit Pascal, and Euclid is not a qualifier for CMO.
Lessons are taught in English.

Planned around the calendar
In 2026-27 the Canadian year runs roughly: CLMC in October, COMC in late October, CIMC, CSMC and CJMC in November, Pascal, Cayley and Fermat in February, CMO and CJMO in March, Euclid in April, and Gauss in May. We align training with these dates where they match a student's goals.
