Olympiad Research & Content Associate

About the role

This role sits between mathematical content and careful research. You would help students find trustworthy problems on problems.cc and help families and schools find reliable competition information on Olympiads.co.uk.

What you will do

• Find and verify historical papers, questions, options and answers.
• Classify problems by topic, difficulty and competition pathway.
• Research dates, eligibility, registration and venues for competitions.
• Contact organisers to resolve missing or unclear information.
• Help develop clear solutions and original editorial content.

What you will need

• Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking primary sources.
• Comfort with olympiad mathematics and mathematical notation.
• Clear written English and sound editorial judgement.
• Ability to organise research so another person can verify it.

Nice to have

• Experience editing mathematical content or competition archives.
• Familiarity with UKMT and international olympiad pathways.
• Experience with structured content or data tools.
